About EarthRight Business Institute

The EarthRight Business Institute (EBI) is dedicated to helping companies achieve environmentally sustainable business practices. Membership in EBI is available to companies of all sizes and types that see the value in managing their impact on the environment and are committed to working toward achieving best practices in environmental sustainability. The EarthRight Business Institute provides numerous benefits to member organizations through our certification, training and supply chain management programs

EBI was founded by a Utah-based group of sustainability professionals with a shared passion for reducing impacts on our environment. Our group recognized the tremendous opportunity that exists within the business community to help promote environmental sustainability and reduce society’s impact on the environment. Also, through our work with many business clients we recognized the need for a meaningful sustainability certification program that is available for business of all types and sizes.

The group’s goal was to develop a substantive framework allowing businesses to develop meaningful sustainability programs and a recognizable certification to reward them for their efforts. The EBI framework provides a uniform, logical approach that will integrate environmentally friendly business practices and meaningful impact reduction into your organization.
