EarthRight's First Sustainability Manager Training a Success

EBI Fulfills Market Need with First Sustainability Manager Training Workshop:

Success leads to more conferences scheduled throughout the U.S. 

Salt Lake City, Utah, November 8, 2008— On October 15^th, EarthRight Business Institute held a Sustainability Manager Training Workshop at the Hotel Monaco in Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.  The EarthRight Business Institute, which specializes in helping organizations of all types and sizes achieve environmentally sustainable business practices, met with business men and women who came from all over the nation and educated them on how to develop and implement a successful sustainability program within their own companies and organizations.  In preparation for this one of its kind workshop, EarthRight’s staff put together a comprehensive ninety-page sustainability manager’s handbook and training curriculum covering all the aspects of a successful sustainability program.

Wayne McDonnell of Huish Detergents, Inc, said, “I felt that the training was very good and I would recommend this to all managers as a training tool.”  Wendy Caron of Nicolas and Co said, “The information was very timely and interesting and exactly what I had hoped to learn.” 

As a result of the increasing demand for corporate sustainability managers, the EarthRight Business Institute is proud to announce that it will beginning rolling out training courses to other locations throughout the US, with the next courses being planned in:  The Bay Area, CA - January, 2009; Seattle, WA – February, 2009; Palm Beach, FL – March, 2009; and Salt Lake City, UT – April, 2009. 

The EarthRight Business Institute will also hold several two and a half day long Professional Sustainability Managers Certification training courses in Park City, UT during the summer of 2009. EarthRight also provides customized business sustainability courses for in house training programs.
