The EarthRight certification program is a graduated certification program structured to help organizations develop meaningful environmentally sustainable business practices. EarthRight certification demonstrates serious commitment and progress toward eco-friendly business practices and significant environmental impact reduction.

EBI realizes that the effort toward improved environmental practices is a progression. Through the EarthRight program, EBI seeks to engage companies to:

1. Create a strong commitment to pursue environmental improvements.
2. Develop meaningful sustainability programs and goals.
3. Create accountability for progress and achievement.

As specific goals are achieved, companies are rewarded with higher levels of certification.

EarthRight Certification Levels

The EarthRight certification program is a graduated set of standards designed to help organizations achieve meaningful environmental sustainability practices. A green business certification through EarthRight has the following achievement levels:

	EarthRight Silver Demonstrates genuine commitment and progress toward embracing and implementing environmental sustainability practices throughout the organization through the assessment of its environmental practices and the development, adoption and internal promotion of a sustainability plan.
	EarthRight Gold Demonstrates significant integration of environmental sustainability practices throughout the organization and measurable and documented environmental impact reduction.
	EarthRight Green Demonstrates comprehensive integration and cultural adoption of sustainable best practices throughout the organization and the achievement of significant environmental impact reductions. Green level is reserved for market-leading organizations that have demonstrated best practices among their peer organizations and market sectors.
